Decoupage is the art of decorating items such as wooden and glass pieces even bags with beautiful designs.
You will base cover your bottle with rice paper first and the reason for doing this will be explained. Once dry you will gently sand it down so it is lovely and smooth. Then from a whole host of exciting and beautiful designs to choose from, you will make your bottle unique and special. A couple of coats of varnish will protect your design which dries quickly and cures over 16 hours. I will guide you through the technique of ‘wet’ decoupage so your design blends in with the base paper. It will look like you’ve hand painted it.
