Decoupage Workshop

Decoupage is the art of decorating items such as wooden and glass pieces even bags with beautiful designs.

You will paint your heart shaped candle holder first and the reason for doing this will be explained. Once dry you will gently sand it down so it is lovely and smooth. Then from a whole host of exciting and beautiful designs to choose from, you will make your heart unique and special. A couple of coats of varnish will protect your design which dries quickly and cures over 16 hours.

I will guide you through the technique of ‘wet’ decoupage so your design blends in with the paint. It will look like you’ve hand painted it.

Candles will also be supplied to colour match your design so you can immediately start using it when you get home.

All materials will be supplied for you to take your masterpiece home, finished.

Come with a friend or on your own, either way you’ll be greeted with a warm smile, guaranteed lots of fun and laughter and wanting to come back to learn more.

Crafting is a great way to unwind and de-stress and gives you a few hours for you away from everything.
